CHFK recently made a $3,000 donation to Cabana Colony Youth Center in Palm Beach County, Florida. Cabana Colony is an after school program run by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. They provide organized programs, tutoring and support to kids in the area. It is a safe place for these kids to go and keeps them off the streets.

This donation enabled them to purchase all NEW equipment for their tennis program. It also enabled the youth in their “Girls on the Run” program to purchase new matching running shoes for their team outfits. These girls train to run in local 5k’s. Many of them did not have proper sneakers, but ran anyway. You should have seen how excited they were when their new black sneakers with hot pink laces arrived!!

In addition to the cash donation, CHFK also donated 48 pairs of Under Armour football and baseball spikes.

We are proud to be associated with this amazing group of police officers and youth and glad to help these kids have fun and stay safe.
