As soon as we stepped into the entrance we were greeted by bright cheery walls filled with pictures of kids having fun. You can tell when you enter the rooms the kids are happy here. I asked one little girl, “What do you like most about camp this year?” she answered, “Everything!”

What better testimonial can you get than that! Under the direction of CEO Samuel Frisby, this clean, organized, safe place is exactly what kids living in the inner city need. They are doing so many activities like rock climbing walls, water parks, sports and arts programs, I wanted to go there myself. But as Sam Frisby will tell you most families need assistance to send their kids to the Y, and as he told the kids, programs cost money and we need help from our friends.

Christine’s Hope for Kids proudly and happily made a donation of $5,000 to this great organization to help keep all the kids going to the Y and learning and taking advantage of all it has to offer.
