As the new school year begins we are looking forward to working with The New Jersey Association of Student Councils (NJASC) as their charity of the year for the school year 2014-15.
NJASC is one of the oldest state Student Councils in the United States with members from high schools and middle schools both public and private, through New Jersey. They demonstrate a tradition of excellence and innovation in student leadership by enabling New Jersey student councils to promote school and community pride. In 1981 NJASC adopted the annual State Charity program. Each year, they collect donations from Student Councils throughout New Jersey to support a charity selected by the State Officers elected to represent all the student leaders of the state. To date this extraordinary group of students has raised over three million dollars since the inception of the State Charity program.
Both The New Jersey Association of Student Councils and Christine’s Hope for Kids are extremely excited about collaborating this upcoming school year and helping countless children in local communities throughout the State of New Jersey.
